A BLUE SKY THINKER WITH A PASSION FOR PEOPLE, CREATIVITY, TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION
I am a multi-dimensional, dynamic individual who brings warmth, creativity, passion and big thinking to all of my endeavours. I am always looking to push boundaries and challenge conventional thinking, yet I am delivery focused and pragmatic. I draw on my experience across all facets of my career and life, bringing a unique perspective and a rare combination of skills together to engage people from all walks of life to collaborate and drive results.
My passion and enthusiasm for change and delight for seeing and helping people succeed has often been referred to as infectious and motivating. An unashamed optimist, and passionate creative, my energy for that which inspires me is boundless.
I am relaxed and genuine guy who wears my heart on his sleeve and loves nothing more than just being real with people. I take great pride in my career, family life and creative pursuits in music, web design & photography. I have a love for blank whiteboards and problem to solve, start-up culture and my side project as solo musician...
All creative elements on this site (with the exception of company logos and non-selfie photos of me) were created by me.
Those who know me will attest that I am about people before anything else. I am fascinated by human behaviour, understanding motivations and witnessing what people are capable of when empowered. I am deeply intrigued by stories, experiences and beliefs that shape an individual. I get excited by the spark observed in a person when they feel heard and understood - beyond the superficial. This is why I love photography. Capturing a moment in time when a persons true self comes through. Their passion, their fears, concerns, dreams and hopes can all be captured in a moment. My strong sense of empathy allows me to observe, understand and act from more than just my own perspective. This gives me an innate ability to adapt to my surroundings and the audience I am interacting with.
Music, design and photography are three artistic forms of creative expression that I have developed a love for over time. However, creativity for me comes in many varied forms. Most particularly, it comes in the ability to adapt myself to an obscure situation, solve a problem, overcome a challenging relationship or create a positive environment. My creativity comes just as much through workshopping ideas with a group of people as it does standing on stage in my band or behind the lens of a camera.
I am fascinated and inspired by the rapid pace at which technology is being adopted and integrated into daily life, the new business models being formed by these advancements and the disruption occurring in traditional industries struggling to adapt to rapid shifts.
I am in awe of the capability we hold in our hands minute to minute, the shear scale and volume of data being produced and the opportunities and challenges that come with that. I am excited by the future and what will soon be our reality in all facets of our life and I'm tremendously inspired by being part of a community at the forefront of some of the worlds greatest innovations and advancements.

Outside of my work life, I have many varied interests that all contribute to shape me to be who I am and how I interact with the world around me. Loving father of my son Xavier, Photographer, Designer & Musician. I am passionate about personal development, solving problems, app development and more.
I am spiritual, grounded, and a lover of all things tech (a fairly rare but very balanced combination). I love to spend hours getting deep in conversations about tech, reading articles and papers on tech trends and pondering the inevitable advancements technology will bring to all areas of life and business.
I have a highly energetic go-getter personality, not afraid to put myself out on a limb, try something new and risk failure. I try to instil this in my son and those around me. I love to create a space of creativity, where people are encouraged to let go of convention and try new experiences. I love to explore relationships between vastly different realms. A recent example has been my explorations in writing music specifically tuned to each the frequencies of our bodies energy centres (chakras) to support meditation practices.
I love history as much as love conceptualising about the future. I love expanding my spiritual awareness as much as my passion for all things tech.
I have experience running events and functions with my partner for her aromatherapy business, and functions where my band can bring our music to our friends, family and fans.
I have a passion for marketing and everything digital and spend a lot of my time keeping abreast of tech industry news and advancements.

Marketing and web design are long time passions of mine. Despite no formal study in these fields, they are recurring themes across many areas of my career and personal life, with many friends and acquaintances consistently seeking out my advice and help in establishing their online presence. Whether it be simple website and graphic design (using modern online tools) or helping to define an email marketing, web and social marketing strategy, I am well versed across this multi-disciplinary field and can bring this strength and passion to most (if not all) personal and professional pursuits.

The feeling of getting up on stage and entertaining people is second to none. Creating art, live in the moment, that brings people joy is such an amazing experience.
On a practical level, performing live music builds character and resilience. It strengthens adaptability through exposure to unfamiliar and ambiguous environments, challenging personalities and the constant threat of something going wrong at any moment, and handling it when it does.
Photography is a great love of mine. I discovered very early that the more active I am as a photographer, the more perspective and awareness I have in all areas of my life. Photography opens my eyes and the mind to see things differently, interpret with greater creativity and look deeper than what you see on face value. I don't disgard photos I take. I seek to find the story in all photos. For me, photography is a representation of the ideation process.
I apply the same principle to ideas. Taking a seed of thought and seeking to explore that idea further and not disregard it. To find a connection where a connection does not appear to exist. Great ideas often don't seem like great ideas in the beginning.
I created this page to give an insight into who I am, to help understand me beyond simply my job history. I value all that I bring from career and life experience. I am a deeply passionate person in all areas of my life and when I work with passionate and inspired people, creatively solving problems and pushing boundaries, the best in me comes out.
I thank you for taking the time to explore this page. I hope you have found this insightful (and mildly entertaining).
I look forward to meeting you sometime in the near future.
